Graduation Photoshoots Malta

We always recommend that you book the photoshoot before the graduation. For several reasons, the main one being is that normally that Graduation season in November. This means that the days are short, and if your graduation ceremony finishes at 4pm, you would have around 30 mins to do the photoshoot before the sun sets and light levels reduce completely.

Another reason is that your make-up, hair and clothes will still be fresh and you will still be fresh and energised.

As soon as you can! Once you know you are graduating we suggest that you start booking things for the graduation day. This is because it is a high-demand week for suppliers, especially for make-up, hair, photography, and party venues. Then you also need to secure your graduation gown (it-toga) and the mortarboard (graduation cap).

You need to first talk with the photographer, make-up artist and hair-dresser in order to start organising your photoshoot. You should then look at organising a dinner or party if you wish to celebrate this with your family and frineds.

Since University of Malta results usually get published within the same 3 weeks, you should book the photoshoot once you know your graduation day.

Gozo - Malta's Smaller island is full of little treasure troves of beautiful scenery that allow you to take great photos.

In communication with your photographer, we will guide you and suggest which locations would be ideal depending on a number of factors such as weather, time, season and month of the year. Moreover, the photographer may be able to guide you through which locations are legally accessible or if there are some permits required to get beforehand. However some great locations for photoshoots are:

• Valletta - the entirety  of it is a beautiful backdrop. From the beautiful Hastings Garden to the New Ditch Garden to the timeless Victoria Gate and its iconic stairs
• Medieval Mdina - anotehr beautiful city located in the central area. Ideal for Golden Hour Shoots with the orange hues the maltese sun offers
• The 3 Cities - Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua
• Blue Grotto
• Golden Bay
• Dingli Cliffs
• Ħ'Attard, Żurrieq (Old Town Core) - filled with classical Maltese Homes and quaint streets

We put all our energy and love into your photos. This is how we usually book a Family Photoshoot for Holy Communion, Confirmation or Graduation:

Timeline:

8-3 Months before: We discuss over the phone or on a coffee about locations available, timings and general shooting methods. If you like our work and style, you book during this time by sending a deposit.

3-1 Months before: We will be in regular communication to make sure nothing has changed, and furthe rexplain our photoshoot philosophy.

2 Weeks leading to photoshoot: We recommend you start slowly preparing and hyping your kids for this day. So they can co-operate better on the day and the photos turn out better.

5 Days before: - The photographer will contact you one last time to make sure everything is in place.

Within 48 hours after the photoshoot: You will receive a small sneak peek from the photographer

Within 4 Weeks after the photoshoot: You will receive all the good photos, edited in our vibrant style online. In a password protected gallery, you will be able to download the High-Res Photos without Logos or Upgrade Fees.
